I am HUGE Make up Forever Fan and when I heard that MUFE was no longer going to be at Sears my heart was broken. Most artist are able to get Pro discount at MUFE at Sears location. It does not apply at Sephoras which they should start!

So if you have a Pro card - use it now because all the MUFE at the Sears location will not be restocking and I have went to the counters many times in different locations because a lot of their products are sold out! I believe MUFE will be at Sears until July so act fast and shop now before everything is gone!

Their is a PRO MUFE in MONTREAL where you can use your discount there! Lucky for me I do visit Montreal but for all you other MUA's this can be tricky. Ordering online is another alternative but you will have to pay for shipping and I like to buy makeup at the counters as I do like to have that personal touch when purchasing cosmetics.

I am a huge fan of researching to ensure I know my craft in anything I do. Whether it be reading one of your Beauty Blogs , Magazines, T.V etc - I still like to read books! Here are some books that I would recommend. All of these were purchased on Amazon at an unbelievable price.

Fast Beauty 1,000 Quick Fixes - Rona Berg

Extremely informative. I get a lot of information out of this handy book to blog about. See all the Blue tabs? lots of crazy ideas. This covers EVERYTHING about beauty! Skin, Hair, Beauty etc... Only thing about me is that I am a very visual person, and this book doesn't have a lot of pictures that I can view. Other than that I LOVE this book. 10/10

I love this book as well - Rona Berg does it again! Very similar from the book I reviewed earlier.

Great Hair - Davis Bitton

Great hair book if you are starting to learn simply hairstyles and up-dos. The pictures are great as it shows you a step by step to do ( tutorial ) with clear pictures and captions. Some of the styles I would personally would not wear or do but there are some really nice ones and simple ones.

The Beauty of Colour - IMAN

This is a great book. The pictures are very nice - lost of celebrities. Also comes with a lot of step by step pictures to achieve a certain look. IMAN is very informative about the products she writes about.

Make-up Make-Overs - Beauty and Wedding edition

I LOVE this book. Both editions are very similar but for the Wedding Edition the pictures are just lovely! This book is very informative to anyone who wants to get into the Bridal industry! The pictures are jut absolutely gorgeous and the step by step charts are great!

Face Forward and Making Faces - Kevyn Aucoin

Magician - that's all I can say - You will not regret this book like the millions of others that has purchased these.

I heard that the IMATS is teaming up with the Canadian Make-up Show Toronto in November! So if you can't make it to Pasadena California - wait for them to come to Toronto!

Make-Up Artist already hosts two annual IMATS shows: one in Los Angeles in June, the other in London in January.

A third show, to be held in Sydney, Australia this September, was announced last fall.
